Early this morning, in the midst of celebrating our nation's 53rd Independence Day, we at HafizFC received a shocking and sad news about the demise of one of Hafiz's most loyal fans, Pn. Asiah Abdullah or more affectionately known as Nek Aisyah. She passed away this morning and she was 70.
I still remember the way she passionately talked about her passion for Hafiz. Haven't met her that many times, but each and every meeting that I had with her, albeit briefly, was no less memorable. She was one tough lady during last year's HotFM Futsal at Sukma. She withstood the heat and crowds just to catch a glimpse of Hafiz. But sadly she didn't get to meet him personally. We had the opportunity to mingle with her during that event and from then on, she touched our hearts like no other. Her favourite Hafiz performance was when he sang Di Mana Kan Ku Cari Ganti during AF7's 8th concert. His performance touched her so much because it reminded her of her late husband. That was his favourite song. Watching Hafiz singing that song with such breathtaking quality just melts her.
Then came the AF7 Reunion concert at Padang Merdeka Kuching. We met her again during that time... thanks to our dear friend, Zhea Zayna, who is a friend of Nek Aishah's grandchild. She stayed till midnite during the full dressed rehearsal the nite before. And her dream finally came true the next day, during the Meet The Fan Session. The crew sneaked her in from the back of the tent just to meet Hafiz. And she did, although very briefly. She bought his CD just to get him to sign it and he did.
Our next meeting with her was during Hafiz's Raya Open House last year. She came and brought Kek Hati Pari which she made herself just for Hafiz. And during this meeting, she finally got to talk and mingle with him more. As you can see in the pictures above. Never thought that would be the last time we ever saw her.....
Thinking about that just makes my heart break...
Now, on the 21st day of Ramadhan 1431H, she passed away peacefully. She was actually gonna be with us during Hafiz's Sungkei event this coming Friday.. even have made another cake for him.. but sadly she didn't get to realize her dream. Allah loves her more....
So, I posted this entry as a tribute to her. We love you Nek Aishah... and we will always remember you. Al-Fatihah to her and to her family, please be strong. Our hearts are with you.

This is so sad....i met her at Sukma and I cried whenshe didn't get her chance to meet Hafiz that day. RIP nenek, we love u. Al-Fatihah!

NEK AISYAH..a very nice person.. whenever she met me, HAFIZ's name will always came out from her mouth.we've shared the same interest and our love towards HAFIZ makes us closer..Sedih..bila terkenangkan the moments we were so excited mok nangga HAFIZ masa Reunion concert and HotFm Futsal.walaupun panas, nenek sanggup tunggu and berdiri.disuruh duduk,but she refused to. she was so afraid that she'll missed to c HAFIZ arrived. sadly, she didnt get to see hafiz at that time. then, reunion concert... i was the one who accompanied her from 4pm till the event finished..ya Allah, zhea dpt rasa excitednya nenek bila HAFIZ arrived di padang merdeka for meet the fans session.(i bet Kak dnaz,kak syai, mumi and all yang ada at that time pun dpt lihat betapa excitednya nenek .. :'( )alhamdulillah..thanks to the crew who helps to fulfill her dream.. thank you so much!i never thought that a 70 yrs old nenek will minat sangat2 kat HAFIZ to this extend..sampai ke malam she can tahan,waits until the concert to start.. last raya, we went to hAFIZ'S open house together.she brought the cake.and this year,she planned to give hafiz the same cake again. supposely,aritok she go buy all the cakes ingredients ..tapi, sik sempat..ajalnya dh tiba. nenek pun tengah mengait satu special gift for Hafiz.kain renda yang nenek kaitkan khas for him.recently, nenek bought a camera,nenek padah,camera ya utk bergambar dengan Hafiz during open house kelak..and dah awal2 nenek pesan zhea pegi sama2 klak.sik kesampaian.. ALLAH lebih menyayanginya.. her loves to HAFIZ never fades till her last breath...May her soul be placed amongst the righteous. Amin. Al-fatihah...
to HAFIZ; nenek nang minat ktk gilak2.. sampei almost semua tv show yang ktk ada nya tengok.. senyum sorang2 nya bila tengok ktk kat tv piz... sik sampei hajatnya nak jumpa ktk gik...

Thank you to Hafiz FC for this heartfelt post. Thank you so much for all prayers and wonderful remembrance of our mother, Pn. Aisah Binti Abdullah @ Lucy Chin, intimately known as Nek Isah/Aisyah...Yes her passion for Hafiz clearly shows even in her room where she would paste newspaper cuttings of Hafiz success stories on the wall and even frame some of it because she is so proud of Hafiz achievements. It breaks my heart when I enter her room now remembering our pack to visit Hafiz during this Raya Open House. She even asked me to bring the new camera with me back to KL during my short visit for her Bday Bash just 2 weeks ago to test it out so that during the Open House I would know how to operate it already...
We thought that we love u so much mama but Allah loves u more..

Ya Allah, ampunkanlah segala dosa kedua ibu bapa kami, Kau kasihi lah mereka seperti mana mereka mengasihi kami semasa kami kecil, Kau tempatkan lah mereka di sisi Mu dan golongkanlah mereka ke dalam golongan hamba Mu yang beriman dan beramal soleh...Amin...Al-Fatihah...

P/S: Dijemput sekiranya ada kelapangan datang ke rumah di Lot 213, Jalan Patingan, 93400 Kuching untuk Majlis Bacaan Yaasin dan Tahlil serta berbuka puasa dan solat berjamaah Maghrib, Isyak dan Tarawikh bersama bermula jam 6 petang pada 6 September 2010.
